My Little Shoebox Farewell Blog Hop...

My time on this team has been such a great joy for me!!!  I have LOVED every minute and delighted in getting to know my "scrappy girlfriends" from all over the world. 

Here are some of my last and favorte projects from the past couple years with MLS...

 

My kids new chore charts!!!  Loved the way they turned out and my kids have been so faithful about doing their chores... YAY!!

 

I have LOVED every second of being on this team and so thankful for Helen being so kind and generous with her product and friendship.  What a blessing it has been!!

Dec 7-9

Decemeber 7th

This is one day that the kids really look forward to each year. We have a tiny tree that we got when we lived in our small house and now the kids get to decorate it as their tree. They sure do get excited about this.

December 8th

This is a day that is always busy but I look forward to every week. We meet at starbucks for our girls bible study. I adore these girls. They even got me a present. Love them.

December 9th

Today was a great example of Gods greatness to us. I had a scrapbooking album class that was great and mike was at our condo installing the ikea flooring with a dear friend. We were just showed Gods greatness and blessings pour onto our family. My class was outstanding with friends coming from far away (and close) to take my class which is always a delight to me. Even had a sweet prayer time with someone afterwards which always makes my day awesome when I get to pray for someone. Such a crazy busy day with the Lords greatness poured out on the backend.

December 4th

On dec 4th we celebrated my lovely friends birthday. She shares her birthday with my grandma... Such a fun day going to BJs and then we went to our other friends house for a little get together. It was a good day.

December 5

Sundays are one of our favorite days of the week since they are filled with youth church and the bridge. This week was really great since this was our first week back after 7 weeks in "big church". It felt soo good to be back.

Later that day we had some friends of our show us the true meaning of exactly how God intended us the fellowship together and as we went to church to serve our youth they went to our condo (that we rent out) and painted for us to get ready for the new renters. Words can't describe how blessed we feel.

December 6

Wow this day was an insane day of going allllll day longg. But I am amazed at Gods strength to sustain. Our day looked a little like this...
Cleaned. Decorated. Put boxes away. Shopping at food for less. Library. Bought cupcakes. Girl scouts. Ikea. And then finally home. We were exhausted but the kids did great with all that craziness.

Looking forward to a little less craziness today (a little).

December 3rd

We had a blessed day today having dinner with friends. We journeyed to Oceanside to Camp Pendleton our military base. We were disappointed to not be greeted by a man with machine gun. Truly Luke was bummed haha.

Looking forward to getting our Christmas decorations up and continue our purging I have a feeling their may be a few decorations that will hit the yard sale pile.

Dec 2nd

Yesterday was an amazing day filled with divine revelation from the Lord. Words can't really define what the Lord is doing in our lives but it's been such an enlightening journey. The day started with some fun homeschooling in our jammies and blankets on the couch then had some awesome prayer time with an amazing friend. Which led to the realization of our blessings and how our lives need to reflect our hearts. So we are making some huge changes which is awesome, scary and powerful. Can't wait to see what the Lord does. I am always in awe of his love.

Now we are off to a house and there we will create our dec 2nd post.

Decemeber 1st

Since I am not doing a December daily album this yer I thought that I would do my December daily on my blog. December daily are a picture and journaling a day to lead up to Christmas day. Love this concept and it was so fun to look through my album from last year.

Today was filled with sorting, cleaning and throwing away. Wednesday the older kids go to school and it's just my little man and me so he played with his leapster while I cleaned my craft room. Our family is in a simplify season and we are getting rid of anything we don't love and use. We are selling anything that is worth value to get out of debt and at a later time we can pay cash to buy those items again. Yay!!!! So excited.

I am gettin rid of my beloved circut. That is very bittersweet but it will be the first thing I purchase back once we are out of our season. I am also selling a ton of my handmade stuff so get ready to see those things popping up on the blog and etsy.

I hope you are all enjoying the christmas season and loving everything about Christ's amazing birth. Now I get to spend my evening with some of my favorite girls (jr high bible study) and then off to the Exchange (our young adult group). We love our church and our youth. We are blessed beyond measure. See you tomorrow.

Here is a class that I am doing out of my home, here are the deets and photos...

I know most of you want to learn to scrapbook or improve your skills and with the holidays fast approaching I thought it would be a PERFECT time to have a class that you can easily finish and give as a gift or keep for yourself.  This mini book can easily be changed to any theme you desire.  This 12 page album (front and back) is called "How I love you... let me count the ways".  It has many different layers and textured including some handmade embellishments and crochet accents. 

The style of this class is what I call Shabby Chic, if you prefer the style to be more "clean" don't let that stop you from coming that is easy to adapt.

My Sweet Kylee...

Here is a layout from my daughters first day of "school". 

We are very blessed to homeschool our kids through a school that allows our kids to go to school 2 days a week.  So even though the school year had already started for us this was her first day of school "school".  We love our school and feel so blessed to be a part of it.  

 

Camping with the Browns

One of our favorite things to do as a family is go camping.  We feel blessed to live in an area that we can go camping often.  Here is a layout from one of our camping trips this year. 

It's so terriably HOT here in November and it's making me want to go camping having scrapped these pictures.  Love using this line called Simple Life to show off the different ways to theme out your papers.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
