Here are some of my projects that I made for CHA...
This little box in actually a little funny to me... my hubby and I have been married for almost 12 years. Through the years I have learned to accept that I can not change my hubby but I CAN help him. I decided to make him a little tin that can sit on his office desk and when he wants to do something romantic of show his affection for me he can use this little box as a helper to him. My hubby likes to show me his love in the ways that HE likes to be shown love which is sweet but we are exact opposites in this... so now he can have a little help. I secretly made it really girlie for his desk!! HAHA!!
I love stamping on cards... it's how I starting in the scrappy world so I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that My Little Shoebox brought stamps into their collections. So fun!!!
Now we have a sweet little new addition to our home...
This is Molly she is half Chihuahua and half Jack Russel. She is so sweet and we are happy to have her in our home.
We are also so overjoyed about what is happening at our church... in the last month and a half we have gone from a steady 75 youth on our Sunday service to the last 3 weeks ranging from 100-125!!! The Lord is doing some AMAZING things in this community and we are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do!! Here is a picture from Sunday at over 125 youth at our service...

Homeschooling my kids is such a joy to our lives (most of the time). We wouldn't have it any other way. BUT the beginning of the year is always a challenge to jump into the structure again. So I decided to make up a little chart to let the kids be aware of their actions while schooling. Each day they start at the green which means good behavior and if they are being disruptive they have to move their face to the yellow and again to the red if they continue their behavior. If they reach the red they get to go have a time out. So far it's been great. Only needed to use once and never even made it to the red and the pouting stopped really fast.
I love the MLS papers that I used to create this little wall hanging. It makes our school area even more happy even though it's used as a discipline tool. Haha.
I used the All A Flutter line to make this cute album about all the fun songs in my life. What a fun album this was to make!! Take a peak...

Back to schooling my kiddos... back to school we will go!!
I know that I have been VERY inconsistent on my blog! To explain a little of what's going on I am just in a season of evaluation. I am trying to simplify my life and concentrate my efforts into things that mean the most to me. I am still creating and actually taking an art class which has been amazing but I just needed some time off from the pressures of blogging to focus on my family and settle my home.
Thursday we begin homeschooling again for our 3rd year and this is the first year that I feel settled in my place as a homeschooling mom. I think this school year is going to be amazing.
Within this season of evaluating things my hubby and I have jumped back into youth ministry and our lives could not be FULLER. Everything that is inside of me and my hubby scream to be with our youth. It's like having a huge extended family. I am not sure that ever in our marriage have we felt so full, joyful and content with life. God is so good and so faithful.
With all this being said our lives or changing or should I say evolving and we are excited about this season as we focus on the Lord and really listen to His leading. It's a great thing and we can't wait to see what is to come.
So what does this mean for my blog? Well nothing except maybe a little more meaning behind posts. I just felt like I should explain where I have gone off to. It's all really great and made me want to document this season through scrapping.
And of course I couldn't write all that without leaving you some scrappy love...
